I bought this product thinking it would help me CAP my nipples faster. It was very LOW quality. It sticks when loading caps and is very cumbersome to use. It holds about 18-20 caps depending on how you load it. I capped my 1858 Remington with it and it was VERY slow going, I can cap the cylinders faster by hand. The hard backing supporting the caps is just great BUT the fingers on the capper makes this tool very hard to use. IF you do not get the angle just right then it will not cap the nipples, the pressure required to use this tool is just unacceptable to me, leaves me wondering when Ill set-off a cylinder just by capping it with this tool. I know, its prolly never happened but Im not taking that chance with MY fingers,,,,,,,,
I suggest you forget about this tool and do it by hand. This tool was recommended to me by a member of a forum, the member also said he could cap faster by hand.
I bought it and I can tell you right now, DO NOT waste your money on this useless tool, doing it by hand is twice as fast and twice as safe!!
Its not worth the money.
