MGM 6MM AI BARREL

 :(I RECEIVED A NEW PRO HUNTER SS BARREL FROM MGM IN 6MM AI AND WANTED TO FIRE FORM BRASS. I PURCHASED A BOX OF FEDERAL SUPREME IN 6MM REMINGTON AND THEY WILL NOT CHAMBER IN THE BARREL SO I PULLED THE BULLETS AN RAN THE BRASS THRU A 6MM REM DIE, SEATED (sorry about caps) the bullets and now they chamber. I purchased remington and winchester brass same thing will not chamber unless run thru the 6mm rem sizing die. What gives.
I know this forum will solve this for me. My guess the bore and chamber are not aligned.

More than likely, you have a min-spec chamber (that's what you want in a custom) and ammo that is on the outer edge of SAAMI acceptability. That's why the sizing die solved the problem.
