My most recent experience with TC and their customer service goes something like this.
Just got back from a few days of shootin prairie dogs with several TC carbines in various chamberings. In particular I used a .204 Ruger alot and probably shot 400 or so rounds. Lately as most of you know getting primers has been a PITA and at times impossible. Basically you use what you can get. I was using Winchester small rifle primers and from past experience were just soft enough in a .204 to flow just the smallest amount of brass from the primer cup back into the firing pin hole. When I'd open the gun it would shave a tiny bit of brass back into the firing pin hole and after several hundred rounds it locked it up. I took it apart cleaned it up and re-assembled the gun...no problem. Anyway I decided since I have a few Contenders and suspected this could happen again I called to see if I could get a couple spare parts I just knew I'd need one day. Well it took about 10 calls to finally get a person at TC but the CS person I got explained why to me as its just a matter of being short staffed. She was very helpful. pleasant and put together a set of small parts for me, free of charge, no questions asked and also chatted a bit about the current status of TC as she saw it. Needless to say I was quite happy with the results and will continue to support TC as long as they treat me like this.
