security system DVR set-up

I like to ask any one here on the forum have any pro or cons on a DVR SECURITY SYSTEM
I would like to install a until on my place upstate (hunting cabin)
The cabin in on a private mountain private road but we seem to have more traffic comming up and down the mountain.The winter months are not a problem snow piles up more then 3 to 4 ft it spring and summer .
I was thinking in installing a few trail camers on the top of the drive way but I wonder if it will take pictues at night with out the flash???
any ideas would be appreciated

 great idea if you don t have someone thats already using it ,,an knows how to leave no sign...no
 changes in electricity use etc...as to cameras great idea unless they are discovered ,,then somebody just gets free trail cameras...you may know someone you can trust,, who would live there an watch the place...
 if its as you describe theres not gonna  be any help from the law ..he will have to be willing to be an enforcer himself... which means he has to be able to sense when the fox may be around,,an take necessary measures...jmo slim..

Well we need to get an idea of the location:

Off Grid ?

Humid Climate ?

number of cameras needed ?

Type of system and options wanted

• remote viewing & PTZ
• network IP camera
• CCTV cameras
• solar backup
• recording duration

There is really some thought that needs to go into any DVR system if you want it to perform for you.
