I found a barely used camo 935 with a turkey barrel for $400. Is this a good price? and, is this a good gun?
I am also curious about putting a slug barrel on it. How will it do to cycle 2 3/4 shells? What are your thoughts?

I'd compare new/lightly used prices on a site like gunbroker. I know you also save some on an easy FTF deal. Unless you have a need I'm not big on the 3.5" chamber. They seem to have more problems if you want to shoot lighter 2 3/4 loads. The more common the gun the easier it is to find after-market barrels & such for. The 3" 870 & 500 come to mind. That all said I'm sure you could make it work for you if you wanted. Is your main reason a rifled shotgun for deer hunting?

I would use it for deer but also turkey and skeet.

The 935 is made with 3'' and 3.5'' shells in mind. Some folks who've shot the heck out of theirs have been able to get them to shoot and cycle 2.75'' shells. If skeet will be one of your main games, I'd look for something else to use.

Keep moving, especially if you plan to switch between big turkey loads and light skeet loads.
