HR 1388 was the "Give Act", and was signed into law in April 2009, and has nothing to do with money for Hamas to bring them here or anything else.    

However, in January Obama signed Presidential Determination 2009-15 to send "Palestinian Refugees" 20 million, but it was for "humanitarian aid", not to bring them here or resettle them.

A waste of US taxpayer's dollars if you ask me, but not, as stated, to bring Hamas to the US.

HR 1388 is the "Serve America Act" which was signed into law in Arpil of 2009.  It has nothing to do with HAMAS.

That said, it is true that President Obama signed a memorandum to the State Department (not an executive order, but comparable to one) in January 2009 authorizing $20.3 million in humanitarian aid to Palestinian refugees in Gaza. However, as anyone who received the above email could have easily ascertained for themselves, the memo did not order, request, or even suggest that said refugees be resettled in the United States.

Which says nothing like what you first posted (without a source).  Do you have a source that says that HR 1388 (or any other legislation or government order, for that matter) actually says what you originally posted?

BUT as you can clearly read that has nothing to do with HR1388. It is a presidential declaration and has nothing to do with congress and for sure nothing to do with HR1388. Where are you coming up with that?

So, it wasn't a bill, it didn't pass, we aren't paying for Hamas to come to this country, they didn't manage to sneak it by us and pass it.

I'll agree, we did (or will, I'm not sure if it has happened yet) send them $20 million for "humanitarian aid" which could go for food and housing.  I also agree we need to clean house.  But that is the only part you got right.

Your source, from your 2nd post, talks about the Presidential Determination signed by Obama to send the $20 million.  It does not support anything else you said, sorry.

I've started a new plan.  I no longer believe anything that disagrees with my proclamations.  Often I just declare the offending sources, "liberal" and go on declaring things...  I find it's much easier if I don't consider the reality of my ideas before declaring them as fact and trying to pass them off as such.

Life is good for me, ignorance truly is bliss...

Yankee1, we really have to be careful to check things out before we send them along.  I get stuff from people I would trust with my life, but if I personally haven't looked into it, I won't pass it along.

If we do, and it is wrong, we lose our credibility, and are made to look stupid by those we oppose.  It is important to speak out against things we disagree with, but it is just as important to get the facts straight before we do so.

Fight, but do so from a position of knowledge.  Stand your ground, but do so from a firm foundation.

(BTW, I've been reading HR3200...I'm finally convinced no good for prhaps different reasons than you...in fact, it is the exact opposite of what reform we American's need and asked for...we have been played by the same old smokescreen and conquer and divide tactic.  Essentially, it is a tax reform bill under IRS nomeclature modeled on GOPer Mit Romney's Massatuchett's HC system..a totally deceitful tax reform bill actually to raise money for central treasury and favorite players and more foreign wars. It is essentially a merger of Insurance Corps with the IRS...this is how they get around the Constitutional aspect since the IRS is a foreign based corp in essence.)

If he truly proclaimed that then he's only an idiot.  Communism and anarchy are mutually exclusive.  One stipulates extreme government control over every facet of life - where people work, what they do, taxes they pay, etc, and the other (anarchy) stipulates that a government shouldn't even exist and we should all exist wild-west style.  They're polar opposites, neither of which is particularly nice.  It'd be like calling someone a "vegetarian cannibal". You might not like either, but they're either one or the other, not both.
