Need Encore advice

Is it really nessessary to use the primer extractor on my 50 cal BP? When I left it out the primers are easy to remove with my fingers or pocket knife. I'm too cheap to buy the EZ extractor and was thinking about just leaving the old one all together.

Yeah, I just leave mine out in case I have to remove the breech plug for some reason. Its just like the Omega and they dont have an extractor so why leave it in on the Encore?

I got more blow back in my Encore when not using the extractor.
