Drop chart for CCI SV
« on: September 07, 2009, 01:12:00 PM »
I was wondering that someone with access to a ballistics program can provide a drop chart for CCI .22LR standard velocity with distance measured in meters, at 25m intervals out to 300m?

If you can that would help me out allot,
Cheers

Not a reasonable request without a lot more information if you want it to be worth the paper it is printed on (IOW useable at all) and worth anybodies trouble to run it for you.

A few parameters are needed (based on your firearm and location)... muzzle velocity, bullet weight and type, ballistic coefficient, zero range, sight height, muzzle elevation, temperature, altitude and wind speed, wind direction if you also want to know drift...

MV varies a lot between different chambers.   With bullet weight/type BC can be calculated close enough.    You already stated in 25 meter increments to 300 meters (depending on your ZR/ME, 300 meters is going to be a rainbow shot though).

BTW, there are lots of free ballistic calculators on-line to run it yourself if you just want a ball park idea.

One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

Well at the moment i use PointBlank 1.8 to work out drops so could you recommend another program that has it range in meters?
