squirrels in the yard

just found i had a hickory tree thats nutting like ever. early this morning i watched 5 squirrels playing and heard nuts dropping.slick bark hickory has hid from me for years i guess. got to love it. getting scopes mounted,ammo loaded,strings waxed and hoping it cools off again soon. dj

How's that hickory nut tree and those squirrels so far this year?
Are they grays or red (fox) squirrels? I have a hunch our state will
see great deer hunting this year as well. have you heard when
bow and gun season start?
