Your second amendment bumper sticker will get you profiled and searched in Illinois. Even an NRA window sticker will cause questions and pressure from some state troopers.

 I believe Dee is correct in certain places/situations. However, although I live in a very small hamlet there is a trooper station outside the other end of town from me (about 3/4 mile), and they see my truck all the time...but they know me and have little concern. Still, this is the Republik of New York.
   Seems I dislike that big city at the other end of the state more every day..even though NY City is about as far from me as it is from Richmond, VA or Morgantown, WV..but they vote in my state..and ruin it..
  The sheriffs are all friends whom I chat with often and they aren't much worried about me..
