I'm buying a GM (several actually)
« on: September 10, 2009, 03:01:53 PM »
Now that GM is offering a 60 day money back guarantee, I've decided to buy a few. The first will be a Buick sedan to be used for my first competition in the Baja 1000. The second will be a Cadillac to be driven in the Targa Florio, with the car's return trip from Sicily being spent in lowest cargo hold of a leaky ship. The third will be a Suburban to be used for an automotive tour of Harlem for a period of 60 nights. It's great to know I can now realize these dreams without spending any money on the cars themselves. On the Harlem tour I think I'll drive to the sea and wash the car with salt water and soap.

Realistically though, who wants to be the sucker that buys a car that was returned after the 60 day period. Probably worse than buying a used rental car?

Are you now planning to buy and return a GM? Got a jump over Snake River Canyon planned ala Evel Knievel?

WilliamLayton:

You mean it specifically prohibits hijinks like driving a gumball rally? Dang! Oh well, I'll just go back to my old policy of never buying a GM or Chrysler car.
