I love my 2A.  I wanted an Enfield, but couldn't afford 303 ammo.  So, it was a good compromise.  For $99 it was a great buy.  That being said, apparently their isn't a flat ground screwdriver in India as all Ishapores that I have seen have chewed up slotted screws.  The wood was saturated with oil and required some creative bedding.

I love my Australian ammo too!  Was my first experience with surplus ammo.  I assumed that all surplus was this consistent.......I was wrong.  I save it for use in the Ishapore now.

The rifle will win no prizes, but once I got the bent magazine lips worked out, it has been very reliable.

Brithunter, those are some beautiful rifles that you have there.  The 2A isn't in their category at all.  The skill and attention that went into those rifles is evident.  Nice rifles.
