Where to find a good holster for a Woodsman MT? Thought I had one from a person in Ravenna OH but he got my money and I got nothing.

I also carry a Colt Woodsman Match Target w/ 4.5" barrel for a woods rimfire. I couldn't find a suitable holster I liked, so I bought  some leather and made one. I patterned the holster tight, and then ,with the gun wrapped in plastic wrap and the holster soaked in hot water, I molded the holster to the gun. The result was a custom fit that holds the gun perfectly,allowing NO holster wear, but is easy to unholster and reholster.

I may still have the pattern.E-mail your address and I'll send a coppy of it, if I can find it.

Tom has the right idea.I also made pancake type holsters for my duty weapons years ago in the same manner.With a sewing awl and leather and snaps from Tandy you can make great holsters.I always oiled my weapons well before putting them in the plastic bag and left the weapon in the holster until it was dry.These were some of the most comfortable holsters that I ever wore, holding the weapon close to the body and in a position for a smooth draw.

Try Jaquas Fine Guns in Findlay Ohio.
I stopped by there today and noticed several Colts but did not pay real attention to the models.
