bullet recommendation

A couple weekends ago, Midway USA, had a "scratch-n-dent" sale at their warehouse.  Since I live just a few miles away, I took part in the shopping frenzy.

One of my prizes was a brand new Green Mountain .50 cal. barrel for my T/C Hawken.  My old barrel had been in .45 and I need a larger caliber to go elk hunting.

I've always liked hollow based mini-bullets.  Since I use open sights, I see no reason to try sabots in this new 1/28 twist barrel.  What lead .50 cal bullet (I like to mold my own) would you recommend?

you might want to ask this over on the modern inline side these boys {traditional} dont know squat about a 1/28 twist barrel just ask them  :-[
