I was there, there was over 1 million there!!!

We shut down Washington DC and the Media lied about our numbers. Just as the President lies.

I cannot understand why people still watch msnbc, cnn, abc, nbc. They take your rights and stick them down your throat. They lie and misslead and still people watch them. you empower them to put you and your family in chains.
I am also disappointed at the ones on here that know what is going on and still set on your azz and do nothing.
What I saw at that event spoke voluums about the people that care. I saw several in wheel chairs that held flags and signs as they were pushed by someone, perhaps family, friend or concerned stranger that had the same thing in common, FREEDOM, I saw old people that had to rest after a few steps as they made their way down that long street to the capital but made it with the help of others. I talked to some that had come great distances with much sacrifice to say, I have had enough. I saw mothers and fathers carring children and babies knowing their future was at stake. I saw those that would have been Patriots in the long struggle for independence. When the call was given in the night, they would have been there.
I saw that in every eye I looked in.
We cant just talk a good game, when the call goes out to show support for groups that are trying to save what little we have left, we need to be there. I know as well as anyone the expense of trying to do so but what is the expense if we dont?
There is nothing more shamefull than for good men to set around and do not one damn thing to help his country.
Dont talk about obama if we dont do something then we have backed everything he stands for by not trying to stop it.

I read that there were 2-1/2 million there somewhere, of course it wasn't on the major media outlets. If they gave some attention in the media, there would be no government health care proposal. Maybe everyone should have tea parties at state capitals. Might make a better impression. Schedule one a week for 50 weeks starting in January. Maybe some people might pay attention then. I hope next year we get 50 new republicans or independents in congress and at least 10-12 new republican or independent senators. Then the independents will join with republicans to make a majority to stem the tide of lying socialists. We need to do what the liberals knew and did starting in the 60's. Get young conservative people to go into journalism, education, and law, then take back the country before it goes too far left.

Unfortunately I can't afford to drive across country to hold up a sign, as I can't afford to drive across the country to shoot helpless prarie dogs either. I hope you feel better now that you were able to trash a bunch of strangers on a computer screen!

O'Reilly said the firefighters claimed there were 70,000,looks like he wanted to minimize it as well, but I also notice he give BHO a pass when he can. I heard from many there were a million.

I also read that the police there said the crowd was est to be well over 2 million and the largest gathering there in history, and osams people said they didn't know anybody even visited. LIARS. POWDERMAN.

I compared the pics to my poster of the PK rally there in 97 (if I remember the year correctly). The pics of last weeks demonstration didn't show anywhere near the numbers of the PK rally. We were estimated by park service at probably just under 1 million. Nobody has much experience with estimating those numbers accurately though. I was very HAPPY to see this rally in the US. I didn't think Americans had it in us any more to do such a thing. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful... Now we need to have another twice as big somewhere else!!! Even better would be multiple events in different regions, each drawing 100K or more. Shutting down an entire city like the illegals did a couple years ago would be even better. Peacefully block all roads into and out of a major metro area like say Dallas or Atlanta would get some attention. Just about 2-3 hours and then peacefully disperse... no fights, no riots, no problems, just a blockade and demonstration and then go home.

I will not knock the people that did not make it, but I know there were Millions that would of loved to be there but due to prior commitments, and family and money issue they could not come. But they were there in sprit, and I thank all of you that support the ones of us lucky enough to make it there for you.

We are working on getting an official number from the DC metro Police and the Parks and Rec's Police. The reason we want the numbers is, because numbers matter and we want the press to cover what happened in Washington DC.

The media does not want to admit what happened, they know it will overshadow anything that has ever happened in Washington DC, even the Obama inauguration. The unofficial estimate from the DC Parks and Rec is at 2.2 Million. Could you imagine if the people that could not make it made it. Wow is all I can say.
For every person that made it, there are a hundred people they represent.

We had signs with pictures of people that could not make it, they sent us photos to put on placards that read, "We march for those that can't"

The State of Delaware had 14 Charter Busses that went to Washington, we had several thousand the drove to the Metro stations, we had Hundreds that car pooled to Washington DC, we had bikers riding to Freedom Plaza, that meat up with bikers from across the country.

The Liberals will down play what happened in Washington DC, what do you expect from people use to lying to the public. There lie's only strengthen our cause and drive.

If the gathering in D.C. had been in support of Osama, there wouldn't have been any problem at all with an "accurate" headcount. However, I have to wonder where all those people stayed and where they made their pit stops. Are there that many potties just conveniently available in the area where the thing took place?

Anyway, I hope that everyone who attended and those who would like to have been there, write to their Senators and Congressmen. In the end, that will do more to influence what comes from all of this.

There was way to few port-a-potties for the people. I dont know where many did their thing.
Many did what we did. There was five of us that went. We packed sandwiches and dinks in small lunch bags and took my car, chevy impala and drove straight through from Florida. We started late Friday evening and arrived about 5 oclock Saturday am. We enjoyed the company of millions of like minded patriots and left about 3 pm back to Florida.
I am so glad I made the decision to go. If we have the chance to do something like this again we may be able to talk it up and help others to car pool or pick some up on the way. We can make a difference.

What was the PK rally? I have too many acronyms in my life.

I don't believe it was anywhere near 1,000,000. But It did appear to be in the hundreds of thousands, certainly more than the 70,000 estimated by the newspaper I read. Even if it were 70,000, that would make it about 10,000 more than the estimated attendance of the Million Man March.

briarpatch, I'm glad you could go and do appreciate all that could make that trip. We write letters and leave messages on our reps phones (very often) just could not afford to make that trip out there due to work schedules and the money part of it.

Appreciate all that take the time and spend their money to make these much needed sacrifices.

A local radio talk show host was on this morning.
He had a local congressman on as a guest, who was at the rally.
The congressman reported that he spoke with local law enforcement and asked what their estimates were.
He was told by local law enforcement, they estimated about 250,00 people were in attendance.

Two guys from work were there and I'm proud of them. Many other of us would have made it but life gets in the way sometimes. I sat and watched the whole thing on fox news and I was amazed. The next day when trying to find something about it in the news I felt like I was the only person who knew something happened in Washington DC the day before. This story was buried by the news, but will not be buried by the people who went or all the others who watched it on TV and signed support letters online. The voices will be heard next election.

The only solution when it gets ignored by the media is to do it again, until it gets so huge that it can't be ignored any longer!

I told my wife that if this rally happens again, come heck or high water I'm going. My truck has 4x4, and God knows I have enough MRE's in the basement to make it a weekend or two.

Funny how the numbers jump all over, I was next to a Washington Police officer, and at 1 PM the radio said they estimated the crowed at 1.2 Million and more were still coming..

People can twist the numbers all they want....
