Boot Repair Question
« on: September 13, 2009, 02:19:39 PM »
I have a great pair of Wolverine boots that I've had for about two years. The one problem I have is some of the rubber from the edge of the boot sole is coming loose. What type of glue could I use to attach the rubber back? I thought of Gorilla Glue but have not tried it. The nearest shoe repairman is 100 miles away. THANKS.

they use a boot sole cement that comes in a can just like pvc glue to resole boots. it has a ball brush on the end under the handle. i have never used gorilla glue but it might work. i have used e-6000 and it didn't hold up very well.
