Trigger for M96 Swede?
« on: October 05, 2003, 02:04:38 PM »
I want to put a modern-type adjustable trigger on my M96 Swede. Any suggestions/experiences to pass along from all you milsurp pros out there?

Depends.............................I'm looking for a trigger also for my Husky M38, but I don't want to butcher the stock up in order to replace the trigger assy.  That's why I'm still waiting for someone to make one that is a reasonably close copy of the military original so I don't have to chisel out the receiver.  If you want to contact Brownells, I'm sure they can fix you right up with a Timney.

M96/38 Triggers

huntsman and SavageT:  Howdy Guys!  I installed a Bold Trigger, with integral safety, on my M38.  They are adjustable for trigger pull and over travel.  There are two styles available - with and without a safety.  I would suggest getting the one with the safety and removing the original safety and installing a bolt block - it just replaces the part of the bolt where the safety lever is.

There is also the Timney Trigger and I think one other.  Good luck - let us know.  HTH.  Mikey.
