I saw a 20 gauge pardner at a pawn shop that looked like it was in good shape. it had the schnabel forend and pistol grip stock for 100 dollars. do you think that it is a decent or good deal. if i buy it i would like to change the stock to a straight stock. what are your opinions?
Prices are different in different areas of the country, but here in Houston I think you could get a used plain-jane pardner for certainly less than $75 in most any pawn shop, maybe $50.
And, if you are going to change the stock anyway....that'll cost you.
If you could live with a youth-length straight stock, why not buy the 20 ga. youth gun? For about $130 new?
