CAS Shooter Checking In

This board was very highly recommended in the SASSNET.COM forums.

Thought I'd amble over to check things out -- As I desperately need another intrawebs board to monitor.   ::)

I'm a 2nd Amendment clinger, I shoot paper for fun, train haphazardly for self-protection, collect the hardware, and just bought my first mil-surp: a CMP Garand. But my primary focus nowadays is the fascinating world of Cowboy Action Shooting.  The wifey and I have been in it for more than a year, and we are in way over our boots.  It doesn't make a whole lot of sense -- okay, it's stupid -- but it's a tremendous amount of fun. 

I'm a 4th generation Californian, still living behind the lines in occupied LA County.  I'm not partial to California jokes and sneers, since this state has grown sick on the effluent of other states and countries.  Remember, our wackos used to be your wackos.   

I've been on the board for less than 30 minutes, and I already think I'm going to like it here!

Welcome aboard. Our CAS section isn't that active these days tho it once was quite a bit more active. We do have a bit of everything here and don't put up with trouble makers and spammers which most folks seem to appreciate.

Thanks Graybeard.  Like most, I'm a shooter first, with an wide range of interests.  Your board seems well structured to meet a desire for a mix of subjects.

The number of feedbacks (positive, negative or neutral) that folks have posted to your profile from deals you've made thru the classifieds here. since you're new and made no deals you're naturally at zero.

Not all provide feedback when they made deals but the system is there for it for those who wish to.
