How much better is the max over the 44 mag? I know its flatter shooting but does it have more knock down than a hand loaded 44?

The maxi was developed for the silhouette handgun crowd. In an effort to topple the 200 Meter rams with out the recoil of the 44 or heavily loaded 45Colt. It did so with higher velocities and lighter bullets for a flatter trajectory and enough authority to put the 55# steel ram in the dirt.

Better, I like it more, but honestly I don't think its better, like BB said, not really better, only different.

Hey wreck, I'd save the gas.  I doubt CW left them there
I have hundreds in the cabinet. I DID leave them on the shelf. BUT, I have been thinking on them all day and now think I should have grabbed them anyway....   ::) :o
