I have an ole TC Hawkens that I've killed deer with, just thinking about getting a muzzle loader barrel one day for my G2.  I'm just not crazy about the .45 caliber.  I would really like to shoot .44 caliber 240 grn. XTPs and and 240 grn. swaged bullets in the .50 caliber???  Oh well, just heard the .45 was not near as accurate as the .50.

50cal BP in G2

I don't wish to rain on KN's parade, but both Bullberry and Virgin Valley Custom guns make a 209x50 BP for the Contender and the G2.  I did not see one from the TC Custom shop though.

Thanks, I was thinking so, but wanted to make sure I had my stuff straight.  Do you all have any experience with the .50 being more accurate than the .45?  Thanks.
