Fazak...if you had been following the news every day covering the tea baggers, you would already know they are neither for the Democrats or Republicans..they figure them both to be "equal opportunity exploiters". It may appear to an Obama fan to be anti-Democrat movement, but as Cabin4 said, it has boiled up now simply because Obama brought rights-robbing to a new level..rather like the straw that broke the two parties backs (hopefully).

  Torpedo;
  The police were there in substantial numbers because experience has taught them what almost always happens with the G20 protestors.
 There may, as Matt said, have been other groups, but if I were one of them and wanted any credibility to remain, I wouldn't throw my lot in with a group that is composed primarily of anarchists.

Well,..again,..there's much diversity among protesters at present.

Many of the tea bag bunch remain staunch Republicans and support the actions of the neocons. Some are Ron Paul libertarians. (such as myself)

There were a number of videos on that link. What I saw I'm not against. But I did not see much so my opinion is unchanged at this point as the end game of the major G20 protest groups. I do not share those groups end game for the political system they want. I of course agree that the sitution is critical, government is out of control and excersicing tyranny. How we institute the rule the law as perscribed under our constitution is what I desire. Is there any info on participating groups who share this?

Your tyrannical government makes the laws and defines the tenets of the constitution in any manner which is convenient to it.

When a group materializes to seriously challenge that, you won't have to ask where to find them.

Just look for who the media is referring to as "anarchists".

Beleive me, there is no need to convince me the media is in on the whole thing. Yes I know, the media referes to the tea baggers as anarchists, nazi's and racists.

Look, I'm open here. If I thought there were groups protesting at the G20 that are libertarian  or constituitionally based, I would support them. Maybe they are there. I just have not seen it yet. I understand and beleive an NWO is a real threat. I understand there are many groups that are also opposed to the NWO including groups that are pro big union, pro communist, pro socialist. I will not support these groups just becasue I share the common thread of anti-NWO.

Matt,

I agree on that point. Clearly our right to protest is under attack.

The young people of America have a struggle ahead of them.

I'm 53 and have been watching the government tightening the screws for quite a while now.

It's going to be very, very bad soon.
