as do i... and im drawing social security... but like dee said our forefathers paid that kinda price...
as to winning an secession attempt...you can bet thier would be some long hard times if that starts..
i hate the thoughts of it myself ...but what ever it takes to stop the erosion of our individual rights..
im just hooked on freedom,man.. its all or nothing for me..ive got a few yrs left mabe an with my present pace of degeneration ,,i might prefer going out in glory...
but one thing... my wife has recently developed an noticable demitia... too fast for it to be alzhiemers ,,as both mom an dad passed with that.. shes heavy an i think she s had a mini stroke..
id know for bsure but she just plain refused our doctors recommendation for an mri...the womans still working as the duty nurse at a nursing home.. still has her personality ...just very little short term memory..
so if im looking at what i think the future holds ...im going to be 100% busy taking care of her an getting buy on s.s an a small pension..shes my first concern .. i took a vow to that affect..slim
ps..fazak if what you say is true ...then everyone need hold on to any arms they have,,for thier life may depend on it..

I would like to see a conservative revolution, either in the R party or outside it. I'd love to see a candidate on the ballot who excited me.

I think the term conservative is getting twisted these days. I prefer to use the terms libertarian or constitutionalist.

Like him or not-

He has the balls to stand up for his rights (and ours) ( even though we might not like him) we are all on the same side of the fence.

He reaches an audience that you don't reach Bill, and you reach an audience that he will never reach, but the bottom line is that everyone is after the same thing, gun rights.

Neither do I.

Anyone who refused to take a bath for a month, peed and pooped all over himself to avoid serving in the  US military is not my idea of presidential material.  Then he had the gall to brag about it.

It would have been easier for him to join the JW's and claim the religious exemption. Then in a few years jumped out of that cult. The JW's have the best of both worlds. They take advantage of all the modern convenience's, enjoy our country's freedoms to the fullest, and whine about sending anyone of their boys to stand up for it under the pretense of religion.

Hey....I'm just sayin.

I certainly don't think that Ted is presidential material or even political office material at any level. Having said this, I do think he is okay He has the balls to speak his mind and he knows this country is screwed up. He does not hide from his desire ands belief in owning firearms and hunting. He faces his critics head on.

Ted needs to say right where he's at. Making money playing his music and making a few bucks on his little TV hunting show. I don't think we need 'ol Ted out there trying to make any critical thinking decisions in the public sector.

Just not a good idea.

Many people remember trying the third party thing back in 92.  We ended up getting Clinton, that is what the third party got us then.  The Republicans split and the Democrats stayed whole.

We have a third party here in Alaska.  A few years back we did not like either one of the candidates running for governor on the Republican or Democrat ticket.  Walter Hickel stood up and asked for the Alaska Independence Parties endorsement.  He got it, and was overwhelmingly elected.  So the third party can work, but only if both parties are dissatisfied with both their candidates, and the third party has a strong person running.

The first time I voted, I voted for Nixon.  The face I was working Presidential Support at the time might have had something to do with it.  I voted for the other guy when Carter got elected, don't remember who it was.  Then I was so glad to vote for Ronald Reagan.  I voted for Perough along with a bunch of other people.  Since then I have not been able to get enthused about anyone till Sarah Palin came along.

I vote for the person I feel is the best qualified, and more in align with my way of thinking.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

When voting what is called lessor of two evils is really picking the one who offers you the voter the most . We pick/vote for the one closest to what we want . The problem is we the voters have allowed all elected officals to tell us what we need to have , be , want , do , pay , support etc.
That said the voters have been brain washed into thinking we have to vote D or R or we waste a vote . In reality if we voted ind. BOTH sides would get a clear message . It may take an election or two but in the end the votes could take back control .
Dee said it was the R's turn maybe so . What would happen if they lost their turn due to voters siding with an Ind. ?  Would they rethink their platform ? If it occured twice they would get the message for sure .
The soap box has been worn thin , We are in the telling phase of the ballot box now . The last box is the ammo box and that would be a lose lose deal for all .
Dee what you offer may very well be the last chance to save what we have . It is the way our fore fathers expected us to try and keep this great nation on the stright and narrow first . The second method would not be nessary if voters stood up for freedom !
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

If we do, I'll vote..None of the above. You can bet your sweet Azz it will be either a Democrat Liberal, or Republican Liberal.I'm sick of their shell game, and refuse to be a part of it anymore. This country has had it! We are like an Alcoholic. We have to reach bottom first to start the road of recovery, and we haven't quite reached it yet......, but were damn close!
Freedom Of Speech.....Once we lose it, every other freedom will follow.

at  one  time the libertarian   party  pushed for  ''NONE OF THE ABOVE''  on  the ballot

if  ''if  none of the above''  got  the vote........this   seat was  vacated

now  that is a cost savings

Another thing , elected folks think they need to make/pass laws to justify their job .
If they pass a law then it  either makes it OK to do an act or not , why is that ?
Take abortion , it is now legal which to many makes it OK . Many know it is not in 99% of cases . Why did we need a federal law ? or federal approval ? Now in some places the md or drugest can loose their job if they refuse to be involved why is that ? How is this related to interstate trade ? we have way to many R and D making laws we don't really need .
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
