I must say that Boge Quinn did an outstanding job of describing and photographing Alan Harton"s "improvements" to the short (3 1/2")  barrel FA's cartridge ejection and cylinder removal system on www.Gunblast.com. Good work Boge!

Now that is a good modification.  Guess I need to pull out my 4 inch 500WE and do a little measuring...

Yep, great article and photos of my favorite snubbie.  Still, I don't really consider the removal of the ejector rod housing a design defect, no matter how minor it is. That said, this still looks like a great modification if you use your snubbie FA in the field alot (as pointed out in de article).
