Hello All,
I just returned from Florida and spotted this Gunade in Fort Walton Beach. The plaque called it a carronade but it has trunnions. It was 6' long with a 5 1/4" bore at the muzzel. I could not really tell if it was cupped. Does anyone know if 5 1/4" equals an 18 pounder? I found no markings on it. It was spiked but the bore is open.
