Interesting Facebook poll
« on: September 28, 2009, 11:30:50 AM »
It's pretty daring to start a poll like the one described in this article:

While I'll not give an opinion on the merits of doing such a deed I will say that it would not help the nation in any way. Those lined up in a row to move up should the sitting prez be removed in such manner or most any other are no better choices. In fact I don't think anyone in the line of sucession would be one whit better than him. Removing the entire administration and replacing it with a better one is the answer and I guess that's not likely prior to 2012 and even if we still have elections then the choices offered us are unlikely to be much better.

We blew it letting him in really while McCain wasn't "much better" he really was "somewhat better" and was backed up by a VP who actually might be just what the country needs. The country made a bad mistake. I think our best hope is for it to be shown in court he is not eligible in which case I think law would require the entire administration be removed not just him. Who would replace him if so would be an interesting legal question. I'd think it should be McCain as he came in second place and really in first place among those actually legally entitled to run for the office.

To some extent you're right Matt BUT under McCain things would have moved at a slower pace I think and we could always hope the old fart would for whatever reason turn the office over to Sara.

There appears to be a fine line between daring and just flat out stupid.  Regardless of the pollster's intentions, surely he knew it was gonna come back to bite him.

I wonder if obama fails to get the hc past if we want see the puppet masters hang him out to dry.
Something like the media all of sudden finds he is illeagel.
They may think he can no longer serve their interest. He may have incided the crowds to the point things are not going well.
We need to do every thing we can to beat this hc and other socialist moves.
It will be hard to do. He has 2 trillion dollars to buy a win.
I would like to see the sheep in the blue dog states march on the capitals and let them know they are through if they back this crap.
That to me is our only chance.

I don't think I'd vote guilty if I were on the jury for this.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

If someone did what this poll is about, I would have a hard tie finding them guilty if on the jury.

I knew what ya meant. Me too but as I said it really wouldn't change much of anything at this point and having the court case find him not eligible is far better. Taking out a sitting prez via killing him is a bad thing to start again. It's been done and attempted but just isn't "the American way".

I'm convinced he is not an American at all much less a naturaly born one so removing him legally by proving that to me is the only realistic option. That would in effect make the election null and void. What the law would then require should be an interesting Constitutional question. I think it would require the team with the next highest vote count to be placed into office meaning McCain and Palin.

They hopefully the old fart would find a reason to step aside and let her have a chance to do for American what she did for Alaska. I'd like to see her have the chance.

Maybe she will run on her own in 2012 and we can give her the chance.
One can only hope!

If that would ever happen I'd just shoot myself.

McCain made one of the biggest blunders in campaign history by putting whatever you want to call her on the ticket.  Absent Sara, he'd be sitting in the Whitehouse right now and we wouldn't be reading this thread.

Without Sarah Palin McCain never stood a chance.  Sarah energized his campaign and almost got him elected.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Sourdough:

You're right about that. She was the only good thing about his campaign. Otherwise it seemed like McCain slept through the campaign.

Putting Sarah on the ticket was a mistake? I would not have voted for Mc Cain if it weren't for her.

I'd have to say only a liberal would be stupid enought to say that.

Getting back to the original post, the poll was stupid.  The DA that posted that will probably find himself doing a stint at the gray bar hotel.  Obama is sealing his own fate and God willing will only be allowed to serve one term.  He is too imature to step back and try different approaches that would get him a second term like clinton did.  Can you imagine the wrath that would be unleashed if someone shot this guy?  The knee jerk reaction would be off the charts.  I pray that some fool doesn't go off and do it.  As GB stated it just wouldn't be the American way.

As far as Palin goes I think she was mis-handled by McCain's handlers.  As for McCain, he ran one of the worst campaigns ever.  The man was a zombie, sucked in the debates and couldn't really draw a crowd.  Did Palin lack experience?  Perhaps when it came to dealing with the left-wing media.  Other than that she would have done very well if she would have been allowed to speak her own thoughts versus the garbage she was fed.

I just read on "FOXNATION" that the bonehead that started this poll was actually a supporter of BHO.  What a clown.  He has even given permission for FaceBook to realease his identity
