180 Grn in .357 Mag
« on: September 30, 2009, 04:17:00 AM »
I started shooting handguns when 10 years old, I'm going to be 60 in October.  It has always been a tried and true fact that heavy bullets shot higher than light bullets from the same gun.  Then I tried 180 grain bullets in my .357  Ruger Bisly and was astonished to see them hitting the same place as my 158 grn?
Could this be caused by the additional control provided by the Bisley Grip?  Any thoughts? 8)

Heavy bullets usually go slower hence shoot higher.  Maybe your 180 are as fast as your 158s.

I guess that could be it,  but the more secure grip would get my vote. 8)
