First animal With My TC

Only a doe antelope but still a great time.  Shot was at 125yds.  Gun was contender in 7x30 waters super 16 barrel, luepold 4x scope shooting 120gr Hornady hollow point hand loads.  Entrance wound on point of shoulder and exit through the opposite shoulder (you could put your fist in the exit wound). She only made it about 15 feet before expiring.      Thanks to a crappy disposable camera there are no pictures to post Sorry:(

i have been thinking about hollow point in my 30-30. you just made up my mind on this. good shooting.

Congratulations on your first kill with a TC!  You will be hooked for life!  The 7X30 is an outstanding caliber IMO, and use it more that any other for deer and antelope. :D :D

congrands!  it is funny im from the east coast and to hear you guys some times say it was only an antelope doe is funny bc it would be a treat for a guy like to get one.haha

dopinwind:  Congradulations.  That is a good shot with a handgun and a real good feeling when you can do it with your home rolled loads.  May there be many more to come.....
