Haven't done any long range yet, but was able to get a -1" group my first time out with 110 gr Pyro RS and a 180gr Pr Bullet QT.  Also got acceptables with 250gr Shockwave/90 gr Pyro and 180gr XTP with crushrib sabots and 80 gr of Pyro, then I ran out of powder and became unemployed.  This rifle has the potential to shoot almost anything!  With the Pr's, easily outshoots my .308 Remington.  Also using 209's with the red FPJ.  Looking forward to hearing what works best for you.

I am using a .45 Knight DISC Elite this season.  The load is 120 gr BH209, TC Shockwave .40 cal 200 gr, supplied tan sabot (Harvester light blue .45/.40 works well also), non-FPJ conversion breech plug and Winchester 209 shot shell primer.  I am sighted in at 3" high at 100 yards which puts me less than 4" low at 200 yards.  I used a similar setup in a .45 Wolverine 209 and took a buck with it at 200 yards last season.  Practice, use a steady rest. put the bullet where it belongs and it will work.

Edited - Checked my notes on the powder charge, I am using 120 gr in the Elite not the 110 gr that I had listed earlier.

150 grains of 777 pellets. 195 grain barnes red hot bullet. Most accurate muzzleloader I own. It will generally put two touching and a third 1'' away at 100 yards. Killed a doe at 200. and countless others anywhere from 30 to 100 yards.
