Encore 12 gauge...WOW!

Test fired my new rifled slug barrell today.   Shot Brenneke KO's at 50 and 100 yards.   One hole at 50 and a large cloverleaf at 100.   My friends who were there couldnt believe how accurate it is.

Then tried Win Supreme Partitions at 100 yards..one big hole.   Never seen a slug gun that accurate!  Kicks like a mule but worth it.

Hey Chris...

My original configuration was the turkey gun.   The gun shop I use(a friend of mine actually)  had gotten a couple of slug barrells that had to be sold as used, but were never fired.  

If you like, I will call him and ask if he has any more.  I paid $150 for mine.

Speaking of the turkey barrell...also very accurate and patterns great with #5 hevishot and Win #5's.   I havent tried an aftermarket choke tube in it yet, but considering it shoots as well as my Beretta, Browning and Benelli  SBE with XX and XXX Comp-N-Choke's in them I havent found a need to try one yet in the Encore.   And...considering how light and easy handling the Encore is I am selling two of the above mentioned shotguns so I can buy more Encore barrells. :-)
