 Think I'll try me a styrofoam barrel  :)

I have seen civil war style 12 pdr mortars made of banded GREEN logs and am told that they work pretty good until they stat to dry out. (and splinter badly) These were made and tried by some fairly well know people.

Desperate times called for desperate measures..... I would think from a scientific stand point on gaining information on how they were made and used
during the war of northern aggression would be useful, but I don't think everyone needs to run out and try that............

 That would be an interesting 'spearmint. However, I wanna try that rapid fire thing in my foam gun where the barrel gets hot enough to cook off successive rounds. Might be harder to do that in a snow-barrel gun...

Yes but with the snow barrel you wouldn't have to worry about swabbing after each shot.......
