Obama's great personal magnetism...
« on: October 03, 2009, 01:31:00 AM »
The Obamanites so often cite how Obama is such a great orater, so erudite and so persuasive with his personal magnetism and charm!
You know; I think they are not lying..they truly believe it! However, that doesn't mean the rest of the world does:

1) His "charm" couldn't get his govt health care program pushed through without being read.

2) He wasn't able to persuade the Russians, even after he handed Poland & the Ukraine to them.

3) Unlike Chris Matthews, the Olympic committee didn't have their "legs quivering" in Obama's presence.

....Behind what project will is he placing his "irresistable personality" next?

The American people like novelty acts. They want to be entertained NOW! They, for the most part have never went to bed hungry, and for the most part have never done without. They don't want a job, but rather a "position", and believe that the struggle for freedom is a waste of time. Simply go to the store and buy it if you want it.
Many want to "feel better about racism" whether they are a racist or not, and want to give the man a chance whether he is up to the task, or qualified to fly the plane or not.
Bush sat this man up to be president with his open "nation building" attitude, and a set of circumstances that came along at precisely the right time in history, i.e. 911.
The old saying: When you find yourself in a hole. STOP DIGGING! has never occurred to our government, and after the end of WWII, our country has set about straightening the rest of humanity out, whether they wanted straightening out or not.
Since WWII, America has "gone were it wasn't welcome", "done what it wasn't asked", and "pushed onto folks, what wasn't accepted by them".
We as Americans have "tooted our own horn" about all the good we have done, and don't get me wrong, we have done a lot of good to UNGRATEFUL NATIONS, but we have in many ways LORDED OVER others with OUR OWN SET OF MORAL JUDGEMENTS, that were not necessarily theirs.
My son as some here know has served in Afghanistan, and Iraq multiple times in a combat role with the 82nd Airborne, and has seen and heard the truth about these two peoples, and their attitudes toward OUR SOCIETY RULES AND MORALS. For the most part these two peoples REJECT OUR SET OF RULES AND MORALS. It is a fact of life as old as the earth, and when the last American boot, steps off of Afghanistan, and Iraq, they will fairly quickly REVERT BACK to BEING THEMSELVES.
Like these two separate countries, AMERICANS have chosen a president that ALSO HAS DIFFERENT VALUES, than most Americans. Americans WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT, than POLITICS AS USUAL, (SO DID THE GERMANS) but continue to VOTE AS USUAL, hoping for something different.
If you think this president is bad, and this four year term is going to be bad. JUST WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE, WHEN EVERYONE VOTES "ONCE AGAIN" FOR THE LESSOR OF TWO EVILS. ;)

BHO does speak with a silver tongue but then so does Satan.

Dee you do have a pretty good insight. Shame is most folks seem to lack the common sense you no doubt have. Have a nice day.

One of he delightful tragedies of Obama is that he is used to performing for people who think like him, unaware that most people do not.

Another winner for him would be the olympics. The three stooges sure charmed Denmark.

Yes sir I had a real good laugh over the Olympics going to Brazil, personally i think they deserve a chance. However, I really do believe that they gave him his comeuppance showing him and the Sour Puss First Lady that they are not rock stars to them.

Sadly the Obamas and the far left believe that he is yet no one else does.

The very best part of the whole this is the fact that his trip cost YOU AND I, $900,000.00. So the laugh is on US.

  Dee;
that is the crime most of our news outlets fail to mention. Nearly a million bucks to haul "prince charming" and the ugly step-sister over there. So they blow a few million carting themselves around, trying to sluff off some slumlord properties for their political buddies, to be used as Olympic venue..we shouldn't mind.

It just boggles my mind why he even has any support any more. The main topic of almost every conversation is the economy, so and so just got laid off,etc.... but hhh just keeps spending it like they can't print enough. Then when conservatives like Tim Pawlenty throw their hats in the ring, people can't stop laughing. I'm not sure what is funny about that.

I read an interesting speech that was delivered to some Texas A&M grads this morning, and it was an eye opener, though not very well received by the faculty.
It concerned LIBERALS whom "think" they are conservative. It dealt with the "group mentality" of voting for the one that the "group" thought could win, rather than the "best man".
It centered on the "true conservative" being an INDIVIDUAL THINKER rather than a "herd member". It spoke of the INDIVIDUAL CONSERVATIVE actually acting on his TRUE FEELINGS rather than the GROUP THOUGHT. Very enlightening, and in mine and others feelings VALIDATING.
Just as Obama has his followers, whom CHOOSE AS A GROUP, to be led to perdition, McCain also had (and had) his followers whom CHOSE TO BE LED, to perdition by a slightly longer route.
And then there are those of us whom CHOOSE THE INDIVIDUAL rather than the GROUP THOUGHT. The speaker went on to say that those whom CHOOSE to follow the crowd in their voting and support of an obviously flawed candidate are in fact LIBERALS, and only THINK AND PRETEND to be conservative. Hmmmmmm

How many celebrities do horrible things to their families, friends, and to the public? Quite a few. But it never stops them from selling millions of box-office tickets or albums.

Mohawk, that is the truth. I guess it boils down to the fact, we talk a better game than we play.
