What about the Traditions Crockett? It's a well made rifle and is very economical to shoot. The most expensive part about shooting this rifle are the caps.  :)

www.auctionarms.com often has them listed to bid on in their bp section. If you see one from a seller who goes by Walnutstain get it. He's a great guy and won't do you wrong.

If you want to get hold of "walnutstain" without waiting for an auction his name is Mike. He owns a muzzleloader shop in MN. Give him a call at 1-877-403-3957. I will tell you that he has alot of irons in the fire and if you get his machine, keep after him to call you back. He does tend to forget.

Hi, In another post didnt you say you had a TC Renegade?I have a .32 green mountain dropin replacement barrel I bought at Track of the Wolf for $129. I think this fits that style of rifle. I have really enjoyed mine. Very cheap to shoot and very accurate. Only down fall is its a little heavy but not to bad.Good luck in your Quest.

I found a used CVA Varmint rifle 32 caliber by putting an ad in the classifieds here and on another site.

I'm very pleased with the gun, it shoots 1" groups at 40 yds with the Hornady RB and 30 gr Goex FFFG.
Took a short walk in the woods Sunday and bagged my first squirrel with it.  Shot through the lungs the RB passed straight through and didn't destroy much meat. I'm very pleased with the gun.
It decorates my reloading room wall between range sessions.
