I'll tell you about something strange that happened to me this spring-I went out with my pellet gun looking for a rabbit for my dinner one evening, my usual walk about 250 yards from my house-down through the bush, then up on the open rocks ,over the top then circle around back home.I had just got up on the open rocks when I had a very strong feeling there was a cat up on the rock bluff above me-so strong I turned around and went quietly back the way I had come.Now-I didn't hear, smell, or see a thing,but somehow I ''knew'' there was a cougar up there....a couple of days later my neighbout asked me ''if I had seen the cougar'' ,I asked him where it was and he said -''just up on the rock bluff -wednesday''......exactly when and where I was.Later I saw the turkey vultures circling over the ridge-there was a cougar kill up there-that cougar had made a kill and had been up there watching me,and I would have walked right up on him if I hadn't turned around....weird,can't explain it because I hadn't seen, heard or smelled anything,yet I ''knew'' there was a cat there
