Are Dan Wesson revolvers not being made anymore? If not is anyone else going to make the interchangable barrells?

The revolvers are not made any longer, the barrel assemblies are still available.

The new barrels are a little different in appearance compared to the older ones. If you're trying to match an older set you'd be better off looking for a used one.
 Just so you know.

Just got a price from DW/CZ-USA for a new barrel and shroud 6" for my 744 is $304. At that price I'll pick up a used 44 in the barrel length I want.

The price was 1/2 that just 4 months ago.  They recently had a huge price increase on their parts.  You also might want to check out danwessonforum.com.  Many of us DW owners hang out there and they have a for sale section.
