That would be worth the trip. There's a big one at the state fairgrounds around March in St. Paul, MN. I'd like to go to that one.

Nations Gun Show:

Been there a couple of times a few years back.
Then it wasn't to bad.
A little crowded buy you could get around and the prices weren't bad.

My wife's uncle atended this one and this is the report he gave me by phone while there.

"Now, you have to stand in line for an hour just to get in the door.
Once in you can't see a darn thing for all the people, who by the way very seldom say excuse me!
Want to look at a gun, well wedge your way in and be ready to get bumped and shoved around while trying to see what is being offered at an unbelievable price.
Since when is a post 64 Win model 94 in about 50% condition worth $495.00?
Standard Handi rifles from $295.00 to $350.00 and not all those were NIB either.
Most of the dealers aren't willing to deal anymore because there is always someone behind you from the city who is willing to pay the price to have it because it is even higher where they live or no one has it".

I am sure there are still some bargains to be had but they are getting fewer and farther between.
Until the frenzy dies down I doubt if I will be going back.
