Gettin' the itch again!!

I was home for a week due to surgery and there must have been ten different bear hunts on the outdoor TV channels.  Man-o-man, that really got the spark glowing in me again for another bear hunt.  I have three taken with a recurve on various walls at home, but I would love a color phase other than black to go with them. 

Anyone ever hunt where you saw more colors than black??  There may not be such a place, but I certainly would look for a hunt where the percentages are strongly in favor a a color other than black.

If you're talking the lower 48 you'll have a better chance at a color phase in the western states.....look into Montana, Idaho, etc...

Wyoming. Got some weird colors here. The itch....scratch it.

  yes, these guys are telling you the skinny...So far I have shot black, cinnimon, and choclate....all on one mt. range in northern Wy...Idaho has a nice bunch of colored bears. and I think they have one of the most dense bear populaitons in the west...once in a while a bear a blonde as Marlyin shows up...I would love to have one of those....If you are interested in a baited hunt, I just got a flier from one of the booking agents on a 2 bear hunt in Idaho, I think they took bow hunters...My hunting is only with firearms....
