More dreadful weather
« on: October 09, 2009, 03:23:38 AM »
It's October 9 and we get our first snow tonight. It's 27 this morning and I just don't give a crap about going outside. It's too stinking early for this.

 global warming.BS!

It's just the natural rotation of the earth on it axis.
It has happened in the past and it will continue through the rest of earths life.

I can't prove it and science can't disprove it no matter what GORE says!!!

Over night low was in the 70s last night and it didn't fall much short of 90 around here today and had the storms not moved some rain in it might have gotten there. Dunno about global warming but the last three days it's been dang warm here.

I do alot of research for genological purposes and read old newspapers and i can not count the many warning calls for death to the world because of ICEBOX weather or glkobal melting of good old mother earth.

just a cycle in the many before and the many to come.

rain rain and more. next 8 days out of 10 will have rain.  It beats shoveling the white stuff but does get depressing.

On the other hand, less then two weeks and we head "south" ;D

A bit chilly here in West Texas this morning, about 40 degrees. ::)  We have been blessed with an abundance of rain in my area for the past two-three months, everything is green, the weeds are growing like crazy.  I went out one time with the bow but there are so many weeds you can’t see ‘em move.  Maybe we will get a good frost before the opening of gun season and kill the weeds off.

They are calling for temp in the 60s today.  Where is our snow?  We should be hovering around zero, with at least three or four inches of snow by now.

As for Global Warming?  The Geophysical Institute here at University of Alaska Fairbanks, is the leading research center for studying global climates.  The scientist here all say privately that Global Warming is a bunch of bunk.  They were told that if they did not climb onboard the Global Warming bandwagon they would not see any further funding for their studies.  The few that did not were fired.  It's really a shame when good honest scientific studies are told to be politically correct with their findings.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

October 13th, 2009 18 degrees F at 6am near Minneapolis. Large patches of snow on the ground from yesterday's all day snow fall.

Thank heaven for global warming. Imagine how cold it would be without it!

Still--chilly for October---any date.

A real heat wave this morning near Minneapolis. About 30F and no rain or snow. Tonights temps about 30ish with rain/sleet. Tomorrow's high 39F and rainy.

Fortunately global warming is preventing it from being any colder.

On the radio show Garage logic (questor may be aquainted with this local show) in 2007 in october they had a record low of -20 on one day in October. I am thinking that global warming must have us up to the +30's now.
