How many of you Notice your blood presure go up , when you come to the (Ole Pot-bellied Stove). By the time I read the first No Bo post I'm so (censored) Mad I hate it.. What were people thinking when they voted last fall. ?

In October of ;ast year I was traveling around the country. I was wearing a Sarah Palin For Governor tee shirt. People would stop me and ask about her. In almost every case they liked her. I asked who they were voting for and an overwhelming majority said Obama. I asked why? "Because my union told me I needed to vote for Obama" was the reply I constantly recieved.

That is a large voting block in this nation, the unions, and Obama had them in his corner.

Sourdough, Obama basically said that he wanted to stop burning coal for energy. So what does the UMW's do, they go out and vote for Obama, because their union leaders told them to. How stupid can people get?

And DEE if I remember right, and I do have a great memory, Matt said that commenting on someones posts that you have on ignore is a banning offence. Maybe that only applies the Citacens of the United States of America though?

Well guys I am deeply hurt by the gesture of being ignored, and may at a later date require counseling. Who knows what kind of permanent damage this whole experience may have caused me. BBF just seems to be heartless thru the whole ordeal. If this whole thing isn't resolved soon I may have to order a pizza.

Then again, it may be part of BBF's Canadian Socialist up bringing or culture to be hypocritical like that. The way things are goin down here, hell in few years we may be just like him. $:-\$

At least your ignoreers? do talk about you and you may have an idea why you are on their ignore list.

I am on three ignore lists by Mack in N.C., la.ut, marlin17 and don't even know why.
One of them has only had one post back in 08, one has only had 8 posts back in 08 both right after they joined and the other has had lots of posts but most are in forums I don't visit.
The funny thing is I don't recall ever talking to any of them about anything.
I really have no idea why I am on their lists.
I guess they didn't agree with something I said or maybe I beat them to an item they wanted in the classifieds, who knows.
Anyway, doesn't make the blood presure rise any.
Just thought it is strange.
Most of the time I do or say something wrong I get called down for it and I then know who & why they disagree with me but these three have me stumped.
Oh well, life goes on.

There is a Hide and Show button on Ignore. I use them depending on the Forum.

LONGTOM, I have one of those too. DDelle338 ignores me and for the life of me, I have not a clue who this guy is. I don't even remember seeing any of his posts.
BBF on the other hand is a walking contradiction. He ignores me, but responds to my posts as you have seen. The only thing I can figure is he thinks he's gettin even with me. Sometimes I think one of his kids is usin his handle, and it's a nananananaaaaa thing. Ya reckon?

He wants to talk, but he doesn't want me to know he's listening. But he can't help himself, and he listens anyway. It's very entertaining, and my wife and Jack Russell Terrier get a kick out of too. I told some of my friends about it, and they suggested that I had accidentally logged into a kindergarten website. It's great!

Dont know if this explains it in anyone elses case but my computer apparently ignores people at random. Several times I have been reading a thread and see that I am ignoring someone. Dont have a clue how come they are on ignore. I have never intentionally put anyone on ignore. So I ck my profile every so often to be sure.

I don't use words I can't spell, and ignamonius isn't close enough for spell check. So I really don't know if he's an ignamonieus. But! Not too long ago someone pointed that out to me, and after thinking about it for a while, I apologized to him, and told him he was right, and took him and another off of ignore. Sometimes you have to eat a little crow, but I'm just not sure if they have crow in Canada.
If BBF every gets it, he may have to eat a moose, or maybe a socialist. Hell if he can't catch a moose we can give him Obama. He's a socialist. Kinda skinny for a socialist, but he wouldn't be missed down here, and if BBF changes his mind Barak would fit right in up there.

140/77 tonight(BP) I once put a guy on ignore by mistake while trying to open a pic while the screen was moving and didn't realize it. I have been ignored before in the past and didn't understand it.
Usually it was by one of my kids who always said huh? when ever I got through explaining something.
BBF, my Canadian neighbor across the swamp,(St. Lawrence River) uses it to operate the "hide and show" function.

The ignore button is easy to hit by mistake. I had a few people on ignore and did not mean to.. Everybody must still like me, no one is ignoreing me... Might just have to see what I can do about that. Hum who to pick on.

BBF has had me on ignore ever since it came out. He doesn't like it when I defend my country against foreign criticism i.e. him. It's kinda like your brother. You can say what you want, but nobody else can. He don't get that.

I thought you had to go to your profile and click on ignore and then type the members name before they were ignored.
Don't sound like it would be to easy to do it by mistake, or is there another way to add someone to ignore?

On the old system that Greybeards used. the Ignore button was Below the Persons profile . All you did was hit the button and it put the person on ignore. if I remember right.
