+ 1 on the hot cider.  I remember when I was a kid my dad would get some bock beer every fall and give me a sip.  The neighborhood beer and wine stores would put a handpainted sign in their windows saying "We have bock beer" in the fall.

Rio Grande said "the others do not understand Shiner Boch is the best beer"
Maybe too many hot peppers taint the taste buds in a way that Texas beer taste better.

"Taint" may not be the right word but if youre in Texas, Liking Texas beer aint a bad thang!  ;)

I very rarely drink anymore, but in the fall I love to go to the Werst fest and i love to have a few pitchers of Shiner Boch and eat some good Sausage and Listen to the "OMM PAA Bands" After a few beers i may even get up and dance with the rest of the drunks err....... Germans!

I drink 90% water all year. Fall/winter/spring I drink 2-4 cups of coffee at work, and lots of water, the occasional mountain dew or coke (I hate pepsi), and diet cola of some sort when out to dinner, or, water.

I do like my Jack Daniels (either black or green label) on the rocks, Budweiser, Busch, Sam Adams octoberfest is a new one and I enjoy that. Guinness once in a while is so very yummy :) A glass of red wine with pasta is always welcomed. My Favorite wine is Hazlitt Red Cat, made here in NYS, mmm :)

Hey woodchuckssuck where are you from? I'm in Newfield. I'm not much of an alcohol drinker, but the hazlitt red cat is one of my wife's favorites.

If it's FREE I'll drink about anything.

Soft drinks. I'm addicted to Red Rock Cola. It's still made with cane sugar, something Coke and Pepsi gave up long ago.

I'm a Southern boy so I need my sweet tea too.

My adult drinks are Guinness, Bud and Coors, and Mr. Daniel's sipping whiskey.

If you have a mexican grocery store with imported Coke give it a try. I am no expert but it tastes sweeter to me
