This is great news. Letterman’s new wife is supposedly going to divorce the stupid Lib-tard. I love it! Palin's going to get the last laugh on this low life. He should be fired as well. Having an affair with subordinates is a clear ethical violation and legally problematic for CBS. Letterman probably wish he gave that guy the $2m is extortion cash instead of going to the cops. This divorce is said to cost him around $300million!!

Well, since I didn't post any attack on him, I don't think your advice applies to me. Funny about the "dem" thing though, as I only seem to see your posts when they are objecting to something being said about a lib. Oh well, must just be luck.

If anyone deserves this it has to be Letterman for sure. Still he will come out of it smelling like a rose and no doubt will ink a book deal about it that will make him as much as his wife gets in the divorce. He won't lose his job and in fact will likely get a raise as a result. It's just the way life is with liberals.

Well, in the first place, are we sure that the information of the divorce correct. If it is, then I would say that Mrs. Letterman is using good judgement in relieving herself of this dirt bag. He has defamed the Palin family right down to the juvenile daughter, and gotten away with it, by issuing a LEFT HANDED apology, and after only a few weeks, gone right back after Palin herself.

dukkiller, we don't agree on much, and much I think we do but, this guy is a piece of crap, and in his world where he makes his living dealing out untrue personal humiliation to folks whom have never done him any offense, don't you think that YOUR the one defending the indefensible.

He (Letterman) can't "lose" his job. He owns the production company that produces his show. He isn't a CBS employee. CBS could say so long to Letterman, but I don't look for that to happen. He's making them money. Period. That's not a liberal deal, that's capitalism. Even if they did, how long do you think it would take Letterman to either syndicate his show or sign on with ABC and push Jimmy Kimmel to a later time slot?

Letterman's biggest problem is his wife. They've only been married a short time (but have dated 20+ years) and have a 5 year old son. Will it cost him half of his fortune? While I'm not an attorney, I doubt it. I'm sure Dave protected himself quite well legally and an out of court settlement will be reached.

Moral outcry notwithstanding, Letterman isn't the first guy to let his privates run his decision making processes and he certainly won't be the last.

As an officer of the court, you well know that the justice system doles out revenge. What’s wrong with this revenge I seek?

Letterman is a gigantic fool and a monumental hypocrite who has a massive TV audience to influence. He is no harmless by stander nor his he weak. He has considerable power and uses it to mock and put down those who he disagrees with in the political realm all too often.

He drew the sword first and went after a person and her family just for good sport, ratings and to support his power hungry ego. Despite the huge public outcry against him for this, he mocked her supporters and continued the sword slashing as an act of contempt and display of his power against Palin and her supporters. Even her young children were fair game for this fool.

You can criticize me all you want I don't care. Letterman is a fool and deserves all the negatives he receives. And yes, I will laugh & gloat all the way and I hope it dissolves his marriage and career. I ask you, what man treats his own wife like a fool and deserves the support and love of same woman in marriage? What man treats other people like this fool does and deserves the power and money he claims?

You're right that I insinuated that I think some of the above comments were classless and ignorant and that it perhaps means I am not without sin either. None of us are, which actually was my point, but that doesn't make me right. I should have said, "I would hope we could all maintain a level of class and decency here. I’m sure there are others who did nothing wrong and had their lives ruining in this situation." and left it at that. It would have had the same effect, which is to say, none.

I'm not concerned about whether most agree or disagree with me and I don't think it reflects any matter of correctness.

The justice system is suppose to exist to exact fair revenge based on societies level balance. Call it justice (theoretically) all you want. Justice is just a mask for revenge (reality).

The world would be a better place without idiots like Letterman. Exposure of his acts and his demise is all good. So I disagree with you on that.

Celebrating the demise of this fool Letterman, is fair game in my book. I have never masqueraded here as some compasionate caring person and never will. I wish nothing more upon Letterman than the harvest of his own seeds planted.

I would agree on your last statement "in part", as majority is not always correct. However, crudeness is usually answered with crudeness, is it not? Right or wrong, it is the psychological makeup of most all humans, to do so. As was my point in your choice of scripture, the woman hurt herself, but did not set out to slander ANYONE.
Letterman's case is entirely different, can you not agree. His "INTENT" which you of all people should fully comprehend, was to slander others for personal gain, (ratings & laughs & his political views) which he did, AND DOES CONTINUALLY. There is NOTHING WRONG with JUDGING OBVIOUS FACTS. It is in fact BIBLICAL. God Himself SAYS: Ye shall know them by THEIR FRUITS. You seem to be conceding on your harshness, and if that is the case, them I am thankful. We are instructed by God not to judge the sinner, but to judge the sin. I believe that is what these folks were doing. They may be ruff in manner, but I personally have seen educated men on both sides of the bench, and on the bench, that were educated beyond their intelligence, and a layman would have came to a far clearer and more just conclusion.
