23rd month of winter

We're in the 23rd month of winter now. Since the beginning it's either been cold or windy or unseasonably cool or otherwise unpleasant to live in Minnesota. There have been a few exceptional days, but only a few.

based on what you have said in another thread, It appears that the warmer climes are calling.
It is warm by most standards here in Houston today---but since the doctor put me on Plavixs I can not stand the cold.
I am going to the doctor and see if it is possible to get off this. Since I have been taking it my tolerance for cold has dropped ten fold and it was never very good. My shoulder aches when i go outside and quits hurting when I come in.

Been on that and other meds a long time for BP and the heart.
Seem to be cold all the time now.

I witnessed possibly the strangest weather I've ever seen about 10 or so years ago while working in Lakeville Minnesota.  The morning started clear and unseasonably warm.  Reached the mid 90s before noon.  Clouded up and got windy.  Tornado came through and set down at the airport across the road about 2:30PM.  Temps dropped to the low 30s by quitting time late that evening.  Light snow the next morning when we got on the plane to leave. 

Cold is only a state of mind.  The older I get, the more my state of mind hates it.
