Well got my fall turkey yesterday morning!
The birds were very active and I did my part
Took it in a hemlock bog between two ridges in a State forest
I used my trusty Savage 220, 20 gauge with 2 3/4 #6 shot at 30 yards

Congrats.  I got one yesterday (17th) myself.    Odd thing tho.   It was a hen with a beard.  I picked what I thought was a tom, but after looking it over real good.  Smaller then normal and no spurs at all.  Had an 8" beard.

That is odd!, but congrats
It's the first time in a few years the birds were active in this area and not during the early deer season!
They were making all kinds of noise early in the morning. I kept my calling to minimum resisting the temptation to call more
Once they were enticed, they made there way towards me, but slowly. It was a long 30 minutes later, when the lead one stepped between two trees and... He was alert at the last moment, but didn’t see me, then made his last steps –fun hunt!

Shootall....  Im guessing your asking about the tail feathers.   It was a Merrium and the tips of the tail feathers were mostly white with a little rusty color on some......

Fall just isn't the same as spring hunting, but sounds like you had a pretty good hunt none the less.

Now it's dinner time! Congrats!  :)
