Hello, I bought one 2 years ago and paid $185+tax for it. For todays prices $189 is fair if the gun is in good shape. !!!NOTE!!!! what ammo are you going to be shooting in it? The rossi's will not shoot millitary surplus ammo very good (not in accuracy), but in that you may get a lot of FTF's (failure to fire),due to the hard primers in mil-surp ammo. (Harder than STD primers to prevent slam-fires in sks & ak rifles.) My gun has this problem so i can shoot factory loaded remmington, winchester, pmc S&B, and others that are manufactured with brass casings,(in that they are loaded with soft primers) .....But if you reload you are in for a real treat, if it is any thing like my gun it can group into 1" @ 100yds with the right load......Hope this has helped......P.S. there is a lot of good info on the Handi-Rifle Forum in the FAQ sticky pages that can be used on the rossi's also.(the rossi is close copy of the handi-rifle)..... 8)Happy Shootin...................
