Pics of my new grips for SB

Today I received the new grips for my SB. Thought I would share some before & after pics. The wood is Maple Burl. They are hand crafted by an outfit in Oregon. The guy does amazing work on this stuff and he has all sorts of unique species of wood and grains.

I have two sets that could be the twins to those on a matched pair of limited edition consecutive serial # high polish stainless Vaqueros convertables in 40 S&W and 38-40s.
They do look good.

No, I got them a couple of years ago off flee-bay for I think about $70.00 for the pair.
They were new but I don't know who made them.

Looks like Klamath River Wood Works to me. I've had a couple of grips made by old Keno Slim. I ordered gunfighter grips, but got regular ones instead, but they look so good I can live with them. Plus it's too much dang trouble to send them back.

Cabin, thanks for posting and recommending a vendor! Those are beautiful!

I think about stuff I want to have done or buy for my guns, but I rely on the testimony of folks on here that I trust before I spend $  ;D
