I've got a Nikon Omega BP scope mounted on a T/C 209x50. Using a maximum load of BlackHorn and a 250gr ShockWave the drop circles seem to be right on (150yd, 200yd, 225yd, 250yd). What I was wondering is.......... if you used the top of the bottom heavy post, which is just below the 250yd circle; what distance would that work for?
I'm not intending to actually shoot game at over 250yds with this muzzleloader but I am curious to know. My rifle range only has shooting points out to 200yds so I can't easily determine the drop myself.
Anyone know?
