You MENTIONED BP, therefore ON topic.
(Besides, you have your priorities in correct order.)

We all wish him safety and a good tour of duty!

I'll wish him luck.  Where he's going, I don't think I have to bother telling him to keep his powder dry.

I pray for a safe time for him over there.

Don't forget to give him pictures of cannonmn's British rifled cannons found in Afghanistan and ask him to keep an eye out for more!

Might want to send him this book if he hasn't read it. I found it interesting, and your Son might glean some useful info from it...

Best wishes that your son has a successful tour of duty, and a safe return to Sweden.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

Once again Mike and I extend our very best wishes to your son upon his upcoming deployment to Afganistan.  We broke open a second bottle of very special Cream Sherry received from our importer in Longmont, CO and lifted our glasses in a toast to your son.  May his unit accomplish a successful mission and may he come home safe once again.

;D computers is nice when it comes to translation , and lots of other things .
without the comp I would never had the possibility to learn to know you guys at all
we are sitting half way around the world and still its so easy

thank you all from both me and my son, it feels so good with all your friendly words
the swedish army got a very close cooperation with the us forces , at least they had on my sons first mission and I dont think that have changed since then

sorry to need to disapoint you but there will never be any large export of that sherry, dont think I got more then 60 litre left of it now
I had an idea to make another 200 liters this year , but it was so very little apples this year so I must wait to next year and hope it will be more apples
need approximately 900 lbs of apples for that
so in a few years time maybe there could be some similar sherry to export  ;D
