Old H&R Hammerless 20ga.

I have an old H&R Hammerless 20 ga....from what I can tell it was made in the early 40's (Serial number is CHxxx).  Does anyone know if a gun such as this has any value, or should I just take it out hunting?

unless it is new and unfired condition take it out and hunt with it and enjoy it....<><....:)
