What is a Colt percussion musket worth?
« on: October 22, 2009, 02:48:02 PM »
I saw this for sale on an ad.  I don't know if it's an original or a reproduction.
What would the value of an original be in good shape?  How much for a reproduction?

Colt percussion musket – marks include:  ‘U.S. 1863, Colt’s P F A Mfg. Co., Hartford, CT’ (on lock plate), ‘N.J’ (on side of stock), ‘Eagle’ (on nipple), ‘1862’ (on top of barrel), ‘VP’ (side of barrel), ‘N.J’ (side of barrel).

Thanks.
