That is really too much for words.  I'll never forget the first time I saw the procession of eight caskets across the flight line a Bagram air base in Afghanistan.  It is truly gut-wrenching.  I am thankful that I am able to work in relatively safe conditions when I am over there.  I am an AF weapons loader for the F-15E Strike Eagle so I never have to go outside the wire.

I would disagree. Our people may be our people, but doesn't make them better than those they've been sent to kill.

just ours
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

My son did this for a living for three tours with the 82nd Airborne as a Staff Sgt. combat squad leader. One tour in Afghanistan, and two in Iraq. The last one in Iraq was the push thru Baghdad house to house. I am truly thankful that he not only survived, but got out of the Army in one piece.
